We're presenting a night at the opera in our March concert with a programme comprising excerpts from Gilbert and Sullivan's 'Mikado' and popular choruses from the opera - Borodin's epic 'Polovtsian Dances' (which fans of musicals will recognise as 'Stranger in Paradise' from 'Kismet'); Purcell's moving 'Dido's lament'; Mascagni's 'Easter hymn'; Mozart 'Voyager's Chorus' and 'Priest's Chorus'; and Verdi's 'Brindisi'
